About Me
After two decades turning numbers into decisions for startups, nonprofits, and enterprises, I built Big Data Tales for the people who need this thinking most: small business owners, growing nonprofit leaders, and mid-market executives running real organizations without a CFO in the room.
I originally launched it as a consulting practice. The timing was not quite right, and I stepped into a full-time executive role while Big Data Tales stayed quiet in the background. A few years later, I know exactly what I want this practice to be. And this is the right time for it.
Big Data Tales now operates as an executive advisory practice, serving a small number of clients with focused, high-touch engagements. My work sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and compliance. I help founders, nonprofit executives, and mid-market leaders build the frameworks, processes, and financial discipline that support sustainable growth. At this point, I am taking on clients selectively so I can focus fully on their work rather than on growing my own practice.
The writing was always my favorite part of this project, and I will keep doing a lot of it. Big Data Tales continues to publish articles, toolkits, and resources for anyone building something real.
The mission has not changed:

Big Data Tales exists to make tech and good financial thinking accessible to the people who need it most. With free resources for those building on their own, and through direct advisory engagement with organizations ready for that partnership.
